The Art of Speaking from the Heart: Poetry Course with Sukina Pilgrim
Event Information
About this Event
Join poet, spoken word artist, playwright and workshop facilitator Sukina Pilgrim for The Art of Speaking from the Heart a journey using poetry to access the voice of the heart.
In this four week course we will walk through a series of writing exercises to help you uncover and access your creative voice and deepen your writing practice helping you to discover your own beautiful poetry that is in alignment with your true authentic voice.
Participants will engage in writing exercises, discussions and mindful practices designed to activate the heart and ignite it’s voice. So often we silence inner voice, preferring the rationale of the mind over the communication of the heart but this course will begin the process of tuning into what the heart has to say; and it certainly has much a lot to say.
