Event description
How can faith communities promote inclusivity, tolerance and respect for diversity?

About this Event

In today's polarized world, what can we do to welcome diverse communities into an environment that promotes constructive conversation? Claremont Lincoln University (CLU) in partnership with The Academy for Jewish Religion California (AJRCA) will bring together interfaith leaders and activists for a panel discussion on how each of us can contribute to the cultivation of welcoming communities. Through personal stories, sage advice and actional steps, we will join forces to take greater social action that promotes peace and justice for people of various faiths and spiritual convictions. Program followed by Q&A and opportunities to network and take action.

This is a FREE event, but space is limited. Reserve your spot today!

Event FAQs:

Where do I park?

Parking for Hillel at UCLA is located at UCLA’s Lot 2 at the corner of Hilgard and Westholme, just south of Hillel on the opposite side of the street.

Please see the attendant at the kiosk for daily rates ($12/day) or proceed to hourly pay-by-space areas by following the signs; $2/hour for 3 hours. Please note that there is no parking available at Hillel or on the surrounding neighborhood streets.

How will my contact information be used?

Providing us with your contact information will allow us to email/call you directly should there be an event rescheduling, cancellation, or important logistical information we need to relay prior to the event.

We will also send a follow-up email after the event to offer you opportunities to get involved in interfaith work locally and/or learn how you can continue the journey toward becoming an interfaith ambassador.
