The Art of Mindfulness - an 8 week programme
Starting Wednesay 6th September 2017
Our next course combines mindfulness meditation with the gentle sounds of the gong during the relaxation at the end of each session.

How to find peace in a frantic world - This is an 8-week introduction to Mindful Meditation.
I hope you will join me on this course, we will have group discussions, practice sitting and walking meditations as well as body scans, chocolate/ raisin meditations. There will be home practice and guided meditation each module, home study set for you to experience between sessions with handouts.

Jill specialises in teaching people the fundamental practices of Mindfulness and Meditation that help to relax the body and calm the mind. These techniques help to identify and let go of both physical and mental stress, increase self-awareness and promote a positive attitude.
The meditation techniques are introduced and explained in a relaxed and welcoming environment, and are easy to learn and have a practical day to day application. We invite you to experience the many benefits by bringing the practice of this art form into your life.
Week one: Mindfulness of body & Breath
Week two: The body Scan
Week three: Mindful movement
Week four: Body & Breath
Week five: Sounds & Thoughts
Week Six: Exploring difficulty
Week seven: Befriending
Week eight: The three-minute breathing space.
​Each session will end with a 10 minute gentle gong bath.
​About Jill
In 2012 she embarked on a 1 year mindfulness course with the Mindfulness Association, and now leads 8 week Mindfulness Mediation Courses . Jill completed a 10 day silent retreat at Kagyu Samye Ling in Scotland with Drupon RInpoche, she also completed a 6 month Compassion and Wisdom Course with Clive Holmes. She studies Yoga and Buddhist philosophy. In May 2015, Jill embarked on a One Year Compassion Training Course with the Mindful Association.

After 10 years of study she is a qualified senior yoga teacher with the yoga alliance and is currently training to be a fully qualified Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher and takes her final exam in September 2017.
My study continues daily,and my prayer is to remain a humble beginner and give gratitude daily to the guru for my many blessings.
