Description

The Art of Collaboration: Performing Arts Medicine & Rehabilitation

Presented by MedSport and University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.

Collaboration is necessary in providing optimal assessment, treatment, and facilitating decreased injury risk in the performing arts patient. In working with performing artists of all experience levels, faculty, coaches, medical and rehabilitative staff all provide valuable contributions in their care and skill development. This course will offer the clinician lecture-based and laboratory-based learning opportunities, allowing for immediate application toward the treatment of performing arts patients. All members of the performing arts community and health care team are welcome to attend.

Registration is 8-8:30am in the Soderquist Lobby of the Earl V. Moore Building.
