Wednesdays, 12/07, 01/18, 03/15, 04/12, 6-7:30pm, Auditorium: The Pontiac Public Library collaborates with the Art Experience Organization to offer a series of art classes. The schedule follows below:

Wednesday, 12/07, 6-7:30pm: Holiday Gnomes: Create your own holiday gnome! These no-sew gnomes are made using rice, socks, fabrics, and embellishments!

Wednesday, 01/18, 6-7:30pm: Weaving a Dream Catcher: Learn to weave an 8 inch dream catcher. Traditionally dream catchers were used to protect us from bad dreams while we slumber. We will use fabric, feathers, beads, and floral accents to create a unique piece.

Wednesday, 03/15, 6-7:30pm: Beginning Knitting: Join us and explore your creative side by learning how to knit!  Participants will learn the very basic skills including casting on and the knit stitch.  With just these simple skills, you can begin creating your own masterpiece!

Wednesday, 04/12, 6-7:30pm: Drawing Mandalas: Learn about practicing the mindful, guided process of making mandalas. This step-by-step process will help you to create your own beautiful hand-drawn mandala.

Refreshments will be provided!
