This four-day intensive course is aimed at residents, fellows, and practicing opthalmologists. It will review the clinical essentials of each subspecialty in ophthalmology. It will be a clinically oriented review concentrating ont he epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and management of ophthalmic disease and will help prepare course participants for OKAPS, ABO, and maintenance recertification examinations. The course will cover the important clinical principles of ophthalmology and update any changes to the clinical protocol. It will be a review of the accepted clinical practice. Basic scientific mechanisms and research therapies will not be covered.
