The American Cancer Society, Shades of Pink Cocktail Party
Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (CDT)
New Orleans, LA
You're Invited to join the American Cancer Society to save lives and create a world with more birthdays.
On Thursday, October 3, 2013, you and other community leaders can enjoy one of the area’s premier events during an exciting evening filled with elegance. And as we come together to party for a cause, the American Cancer Society will continue to save lives and create more birthdays by helping people to stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against a disease that has taken too many lives.
For nearly a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year. Now that’s a reason to party, so join us!
Let's join together to save lives... even if it takes all night!
We hope to see you there!
The Event is Thursday, October 3rd at Joan Mitchell Center from 6-9:00 p.m. Ticket includes entry to event, complimentary wine, food and music by the Young Neville's Band. Dress is cocktail.
