We would describe the Amazing Chase for Charity as a scavenger hunt. Teams will decode clues and to race to mysterious locations. At each location you will be faced with a challenge you will need to complete with your team before receiving the next clue.
The team with the fastest time will be the overall winner. We will have winners in each category (Family, High School, College, and Open) and many prizes to raffle off for everyone who competes and helps support our event!

Amazing FAQs

What should I wear to compete in the Amazing Chase?
Comfortable clothing and shoes. You will be running around and we wouldn’t want you to get blisters.

What are the age limits?
Ages 1-99. This is a family and friend event. You know your families’ and friends abilities better than we do so choose wisely.

How many people can I have on my team?
You can have a maximum of 10 per team. Your team needs to fit in ONE vechicle.

Can I do it alone?
You can, but who would want to? It's much more fun with friends and family!

How long will the race take me?
About 4-5 hours, unless you go to lunch between clues. But then you won’t be 1st for sure!

What should I bring on the day of the race?
A fully charged cell phone! You will need this for many reasons in the race. Some we won’t share here because we don’t want to give away hints, but You CAN use your phone to help you solve clues…and it is not even cheating! Plus, you may want it to help navigate to your next clue.
Comfortable clothing and shoes.
A vehicle full of your BFF’s.

When will I Know if I won extra Raffle Tickets because of my Amazing Costume?
Everyone who dresses up wins 2 raffle tickets. Additional Raffle tickets can be earned by having the most Amazing Costume, Most Amazing Team Theme, Most Amazing Event Themed Costume. Costumes will be Judged at checking for the race. Raffle Tickets will be awarded at the Amazing Celebration Closing Celebration for category winners.

Will I still win Raffle/Race prizes if I am not at The Amazing Chase Closing Celebration?
No, you must be present to redeem any prizes. Plus you won’t want to miss the party! Everyone who is anyone is going to be there!

Do I need a vehicle for this race?
Yes, the clues will lead you to places all over Utah County. Even if you are Usain Bolt, you couldn’t run fast enough to make it to all the places we take you and be back in time for The Amazing Chase Closing Celebration. And we want you there!

What if I get stuck during the race?
Call us on the help line. You will receive this phone number with your instructions the morning of the race.

What if I have registered and I can no longer attend?
Just like a concert once you have purchased the tickets they are yours. However, if you would like to gift your registration to a friend, they would love you forever, maybe even leave you something in their will. Email us a info@chaseforcharity.com and we will help you change the details of the ticket.

I want to know more about the trip to Peru?
Eagle Condor Humanitarian does 6 humanitarian expeditions a year. TWO people will be able to go on an expedition that includes, accommodation, airfare, transportation, food, and day trips to Machu Pichhu and Sacred Valley. You will be working side-by-side with community members in Peru to provide needed services such as clean drinking water, greenhouses, food programs and more to achieve long term change for self-reliance. Expeditions are generally between 8-10 days and include excursions to culturally rich locations. Enjoy this experience of a life – time!

I am not interested in running the chase but I want to help out. What can I do?
There are several ways to help out. You will get major brownie points with us & the families in Peroy, Peru for doing any or all of the following.
• Help us get the word out by sharing this on your social media
• We need lots of great staff to help with event.
• Donate money to the school

Will there be support stations along the way?

Because of the uniqueness of the race and the required travel across the valley, you’ll have the opportunity to use local facilities. No support stations will be provided.

What if I get hungry during the race?

Be sure to bring snacks for the car and a full water bottle! We will have AMAZING food at our closing celebration after the race at 4:30pm.

Do you love the word Amazing?
