THE ALIENS

by Annie Baker

"The state of just having lost something is like the most enlightened state in the world."

This is a play with music.

Two burnouts and a barista sit behind a coffee shop mulling over psilocybin tea, Jewish music camp, fireworks, wind farms, propositional calculus, ladders, geniushood, and Bukowski.

At least a third - if not half - of this play is silence.
