The AI Revolution, Public Policy & Governance
The rise of intelligent automation and digitisation across the globe has permeated a multitude of fields including governance, public policy and political decision-making. The emerging debate around big data and the politics of international regulation points to an exigent need to deliberate the definition, constitution and limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Global Policy Insights (GPI) invites you to the inaugural panel discussion of its AI Policy Labs under the 'AI & Public Policy Programme', focusing on the 'The AI Revolution, Public Policy & Governance'. The event invites engagement on the 'intelligent' systems behind AI and the fast-paced developments that compel an enquiry into the global governance on AI, the utilisation of AI in policy making, its implementation, further addressing the governance and challenges of the field itself.
The panel features a set of prominent leaders and thinkers, Uday Nagaraju (Executive President, GPI & Programme Director, AI Policy Labs), Ivana Bartoletti (Technical Director, Deloitte UK & Co-Founder, Women Leading in AI), Nero Ughwujabo (Special Advisor (policy) to the Former UK Prime Minister Theresa May), Dr Jérôme Duberry (Lecturer & Researcher, University of Geneva & Speaker, UN System Staff College), Nishtha Satyam (Deputy Country Representative, UN Women in India, Bhutan, Maldives & Sri Lanka), moderated by Neha Dewan (Cantab) (Fellow & Political Affairs officer, Global Policy Insights).
