Event description

Description

Enjoy an afternoon of education, live entertainment, and empowerment during this unique Mixer + Art Exhibit presented by YP Empire. Experience culture with an ethnic collection of inspiring photography and a poetic documentary by Vesy Valcheva of VvD Photography!

Women’s History Month is a month to celebrate women and their extraordinary accomplishments and contributions to American society. As a company that pays homage to women of color, we vowed to celebrate National Women’s History Month by celebrating black women! We are committed to redefining the image of black women and igniting hope and opportunity for them to be their best selves.

Our goal is to bring a sense of pride and sisterhood within The AfrocentricX: The Mixer! We strongly believe the future of our country lies within the power of the woman. As the movie Hidden Figures skillfully portrays, women that work together achieve great accomplishments and make history. Join us for an historical evening of culture, sisterhood, celebration and enjoyment.
