Event description

Description

The African Heritage Foundation is in the process of developming a home school system and an academy that is dedicated to the uplift the nation's educational culture. The Foundation through the home school system will provide support for parents who wish an alternative or supplement to the state educational system.

If you would be interested in teaching in the AHF home school system, at the academy or are generally interested in the positive development of our education system, you are invited to a teacher's forum and workshop being hosted by the AHF.

This activity will encourage discussion on teaching methods, disciplinary actions, environment, student empowerment, evaluations, health and nutrition, physical education beyond sports and teacher parent involvement, among other topics. This two day forum will consist of film, short presentations and group activity that will lead to resolution creation.

This activity is free and will assist in developing a working guideline for educators working with the Barbados Alkebulan Academy for Social Empowerment (B.A.A.S.E). Your registration will be required so that the AHF may better provide for you.
