Event description

Description

An original musical production written & directed by Alan R.H. Nettles with Associate Director(s): Shanae Edwards & Megan Broadnax

"A Walk Through Time" is a colorful story about six teenagers living in Brooklyn, New York who cause their history teacher, Miss Honeyburg exhaustion from their lack of empathy for Black American culture. Honeyburg forces the students to travel back in time to learn from some of the greats themselves: ‘Fannie Lou’, ’DuBois’, 'Ella Fitzgerald', 'Diana Ross,' & ‘Mamie Till’. This is a revival of the 2007 original musical production.
