Event description
This 6 week class will focus on teaching younger students new skills that they can use both on stage and in their everyday lives.

About this event

Written for students 8 to 12 years old, this 6 week class teaches the foundations of acting through the 5 tools found in their own personal toolboxes:

  • Voice
  • Body
  • Imagination
  • Concentration
  • Cooperation

Each week focuses on a new tool that students already possess. They will practice controlling that tool and using it effectively through games and imaginative play.

On their last day, students will put all 5 of their tools to use to perform skits for the class.

The Actor's Toolbox will take place in room 208 at Lincoln Center for the Arts, Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm.

Jan. 18, Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 15, Feb 22
