What’s your type…and how can knowing your type help your career?
join us for an arvold.education workshop
led by Erica Arvold & Richard Warner
Knowing your professional persona is a valuable tool that can guide and inform your career growth. Participants will explore how an actor can discover, shape and present oneself in the most optimal way to casting directors, agents and directors.
Our own casting director/producer Erica Arvold, CSA and acting coach Richard Warner will lead the group in hands-on creative exercises to discover each participant’s own professional persona. They will discuss why self-awareness is vital and how that self-awareness can be used by an actor in his/her career and craft.
All film artists ages 17 and above are welcome! This will be an intimate group discussion where active participation is encouraged, so space is limited to 12 participants.
**Please note: This chapter will be particularly interactive and introspective; please be ready to participate in a dynamic session that will involve self-assessment and review in a group environment. Participants are encouraged to bring their headshots and materials for discussion and review.
arvold workshops focus on both the philosophical and pragmatic aspects of being a film artist.
THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT AN AUDITION; while we encourage you to bring your materials for review, discussion and feedback, we will not be receiving any for submission to current projects. Erica will be using her experience solely to educate participants.
