The ABC's of the New ADA and the FACBC - AdvancedNUMBER OF CLASSROOM HOURS: 2 Hours - 2 CEU Advanced Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This Advanced Building Code course addresses the specific requirements of the updated Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction and the 2010 ADA Standards. The course will instruct attendants in the specific requirements for: the accessible route, accessible parking requirements, the issue of Florida’s specific requirements regarding vertical accessibility, providing accessible toilet rooms, bathrooms and toilet stalls.

There will be an update as to where the Federal Access Board and the Department of Justice is with their requirements for accessibility. When the course has been completed attendant will have a better understanding of the applicable accessibility requirements.
