The Day of Service is designed to be invoke thoughtful conversation and encourage attendees to live out the teachings of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Over the course of the day, some discussions may include references to faith, though in no way is the event targeted to a specific religious audience, with participants being able to select the workshops that are most interested in and incorporate their faith as much or as little as they would like. The event is welcoming of those of all faiths and those who do not consider themselves religious at all.

Photographs will be taken throughout the day and may be used in publications by the University, Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, and Massachusetts Service Alliance. If you would not like us to use your photograph, or the photograph of a child you are chaperoning, to be used in publications, please fill out this form.
