Description

Dear Professors and Colleagues:

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is an honor and privilege to invite you to participate in the EAVMA 2017 Conference which will be held on March 1st – 3rd, 2017 at the Dusit Thani Hotel, New Cairo, Egypt.

The coming 7th EAVMA meeting will focus on clinical practice in the pediatric population. This year, the conference will concentrate on different clinical scenarios that we meet as audiologists when dealing with children. These include challenges in diagnosis of hearing loss in young children, comparisons between different hearing devices and rehabilitative techniques, as well as methods for integrating the hearing-impaired child in real-life situations. In addition, clinical scenarios in a dizzy child will be discussed.

We will follow a different, and we hope an interesting, format that will enable all audiologists working in the field to discuss and learn practical techniques that will eventually lead to a better life for our hearing-impaired children. Also, there will be workshops & practicum related to the theme of the conference.

We are fortunate enough to host a number of guest speakers who will sure enrich our meeting with their valuable contribution and encourage scientific interactions in the state-of-art knowledge and experience.

This year, the EAVMA meeting will also include the WHO International Hearing Day celebration.

Looking forward to welcome you all.

Amany Shalaby, MD
