The 5th Annual Susie Classic

Hosted by The Susie Foundation, The Susie Classic brings together over 200 kickballers from across New England for a day of fun, fundraising, and kickball glory! Taking place in picturesque Beacon Falls, Connecticut, The Susie Classic raises money to support patients and families living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease) in Connecticut.
Event Date: Saturday, September 16th 2017 (Rain Date: Sunday, September 17th)
Start Time: Team check-in begins at 9:00AM, Opening Ceremonies begin at 11AM, and games begin at 11:30AM.
Location: Beacon Falls Recreation Complex - 100 Pent Road, Beacon Falls, CT
Registration Fee: Includes event t-shirt, lunch, and (at least) three team games. To note, prices will increase as the event gets closer. It is highly recommended that tickets be purcahsed before the day of the event. See pricing schedule below:
Until June 30th: $25 per person
July 1st – August 31st: $30 per person
September 1st - September 15th: $35 per person
Day of: $40 per person
Funds Raised: ALL proceeds will directly benefit The Susie Foundation. This is an entirely not-for-profit event intended to raise money for patients and families living with ALS in Connecticut.
What does The Susie Classic support?
Each and every penny raised at the 2017 Susie Classic will help to fund the mission of The Susie Foundation (TSF), a Connecticut-based charity focused on providing financial and hands-on support to patients and families living with ALS (or Lou Gehrig's Disease) across the Nutmeg state.
On a scale from 1-10, how awesomely fun is The Susie Classic?
12. Beyond a shadow of a reasonable doubt, The Susie Classic is the best amateur kickball fundraising event in the history of Connecticut amateur kickball fundraising events.
What can/can't I bring to The Susie Classic?
YOU CAN bring a positive attitude, a good pair of sneakers or rubber cleats, sunscreen, and appropriate attire (e.g. hats, sunglasses, etc.) for a New England early autumn day. Creative team uniforms (especially those including jorts) are strongly encouraged.
YOU CAN'T bring an uber-competitive, overly aggressive attitude, alcohol or illict substances, metal baseball/softball cleats, or weapons of any kind.
What are my parking options at The Susie Classic?
Ample parking is available throughout the Beacon Falls Recreation Complex, located at 100 Pent Road, Beacon Falls. Additionl parking is available at the back of the complex as well.
What if there is inclement weather? Is there a rain date?
The rain date is Sunday, September 17th - the day after the event is currently scheduled for. In the event of inclement weather, event organizers will make a call by 7PM on Friday, September 15th and email all attendees. To note, only the most severe weather-related circumstances will lead to the cancellation or postponement of this event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
This would be super helpful so, yes, please bring it with you.

Is there a refund policy?
Tickets are absolutely, 100%, always and forever non-refundable. However, if you cannot attend, your ticket can be considered a tax deductible donation to The Susie Foundation.
