The 4th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival will feature over 45 Gifted Authors; a Black History for Children Book Exhibit & GiveAway; a Young People's Writing Session; Esteemed Keynote Author (TBA) and Children's Activities.
This Annual Black History Month Event was created to Highlight the Power of Black Literature, to Reinforce the fact that Representation Matters and to Encourage Black Economics.
Our Authors will be located at the Second Baptist Community Center (3310 E. Commerce St.) and all Activities will be held next door at Carver Library (3350 E. Commerce St.).
The Friends of Carver Library are dedicated to Promoting Literacy, Culture and History in the African American Community.
