Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Communication is the primary building block that all leadership training needs to be based on. What good is a stellar leader without a great way to convey the message? You will learn how to:

• Communicate in ways that others understand.

• Improve your connecting skills - seek first to understand, then be understood.

• Communicate with your body language.

• Find your blind spots in your communication skills.

A leader must coach and build a team that can work together. Without this, the team cannot function. We will:

• Learning what coaching really is.

• Discover why it is so important today. We can deliver over 5 times the original investment on our coaching if done properly.

• Learn what kind of leader that each one in the group is with a simple quiz.

• Find the differences between the coach and the manager.

Conflict is a given in any business. How you resolve it reflects the leadership skills you have gained. We will:

• Review the cost of conflict in the workplace.

• Learn about the two types of conflict as there is actually positive conflict that can move a team forward.

• Understand why conflicts arise in the first place and what to do about them.

• Establish a conflict resolution process.

This is a large part of an effective leader’s responsibility. We will:

• Uncover 5 ways that collaboration benefits the workplace and how the leaders can create this collaboration attitude.

• Review Maslow’s hierarchy of needs applied to employee engagement and see how we as leaders can move people up the hierarchy effectively
