Friends, family, artists and art lovers! Our "Peace in Art" Show Sale Event is here again. Featuring here are visual artists from Hamilton-Burlington and Oakville’s up and coming.
Claudette Losier, a world-class contemporary artist. Whose Night Vision #3, Cinderpoppy, was procured by corporations such as the Ontario Government and the Toronto City Hall. Many galleries throughout Southern Ontario, New York and Europe seek after Claudette’s vibrant art.
Susan Gadsby taught visual arts for the HWDSB, and acquired the title of Visual Arts Specialist from York University of Toronto. Being a seasoned world traveler, Susan finds inspirations through the cultures of the world, and these experiences translate to her current acrylic collection.
Robbin Pulver is a self-taught, mixed media artist. Her artistic aim is to delight, inspire, and offer the viewer something that intrigues their imaginations in her colourful creations in acrylic or encaustic. One can find her paintings as far away as Wales, England and Dubai and North America.
Edward Hoyer Robin combines his unique life experiences with his formal education to achieve a fresh artistic expression with a universal and spiritual essence. Edward’s creations were procured by art lovers over six continents. Edward is a member of The Oakville Art Council, Burlington Art in Action, The Mississauga Art Council and The Casa Cultural Colombiana Inc.
Anne Moniz Chung is an award-winning, multifaceted artist in watercolour, acrylic and photography. Her representational artworks are colourful and often tells a story.
J.R. is a gifted, business minded artist. She had designed and taught classes at a large capacity in her mid-thirties and forties. Presently, she focused her artistic talents in the art of healing stones, leather, and sterling silver. A must-see for yourself!
Theresa Jardin is a wonderful abstract artist with delightful, whimsical touches in her one-of-a-kind creations. Theresa’s Chakra pottery also talks about her spiritual side. She was born in Montreal, now resides in Oakville. Her art is a must see!
There will be samplings of hor d’oeuvres, refreshments, one ticket for wine, special speakers, art demonstrations, silent auctions, and a draw for door prizes. All included in the purchase of $10.00 Early-bird entry from Eventbrite or $20.00 at the door. ($5.00 goes towards the Canadian Mental Health Association)
