The Black Business Students Association at Columbia Business School invites you to join us for the 37th Annual ELEVATE Conference and Alumni Gala on Friday April 5th and Saturday April 6th.

Each year, the Black Business Student Association at Columbia Business School sponsors a conference to connect current students, alumni, prospective students, and other professionals. The theme of this year’s conference is “Igniting Our Power - From Conversation to Action” Accordingly, the Elevate Conference will address how to drive action to advance and strengthen the black community.

April 5th - Tech Summit (10:00AM - 4:15PM)

Get ready to hear from black technologists, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists. Purchase includes boxed lunch. Smart Casual Attire.


April 5th – Alumni Gala (7:00PM - 10:00PM)

Calling ALL alumni! Join us for a night of elegance and fun!

The evening will be a chance to reconnect with one another while recognizing the accomplishments of BBSA alumni, both old and young. Food, drinks, music and an unforgettable time will be provided!

All ticket sales are general admission, but there are limited number of premium seats are available for purchase via a Class Table or Corporate Sponsorship. Please see the ticketing page for details.

Other FAQ’s:

  1. I’m not an alumni. Can I attend? Unfortunately, no. The gala is open to CBS Alumni who were BBSA club members.
  2. I’m an alumni, can I bring my spouse/significant other? Yes! Please purchase an additional ticket for your guest.
  3. What should I wear? Black Tie is strongly encouraged. Cocktail and business formal will be allowed. Come dressed to impress.
  4. Will there be food? Yes. Dinner will be available.
  5. What is the agenda for the evening? A formal agenda will be available soon.
  6. I’m attending conference on Saturday. Is there reduced ticket pricing? Yes. A discounted ticket package is available for Friday gala and Saturday conference.
