The 3 Imperatives for Achieving Organizational Excellence

Organizational Excellence is the power of achieving more, by achieving it together. Join us for 2-hour training to:

  • Understand the theory of Organizational Excellence and how you could improve your company by creating a culture that capitalizes on the combined strengths of each individual

  • Learn how leaders can encourage this type of thinking and change within their organization

  • Discuss the three key enablers that are critical for achieving this highly desired level of performance: transformational leadership, organizational alignment, and accountability.

Speaker: Mike Stonecipher, GaMEP Project Manager

Mike specializes in strategic planning and managing projects that will enable top-line growth through product innovation and deliver bottom-line results through process innovation, team development, and lean implementation.

Prior to joining Georgia Tech, he served 15 years in the automotive industry with AlliedSignal and Honeywell International, where he held the position of Director of Operations for the Automotive Friction Materials Division. Stonecipher also worked in the energy and sustainability industry and has served on the board of directors for Power Partners, Inc. (formerly a division of ABB). He has extensive experience in leading product and process development, six sigma and lean implementation, factory start-ups, new product launches, and managing operations that serve a global OEM customer base. He was awarded AlliedSignal’s CEO Technology Achievement Award and received a patent for abrasive coating on brake pads.

Stonecipher holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an M.B.A. from Brenau University. He has completed Lean Enterprise training through the Lean Design Institute at UT Knoxville and Finance for Executives, Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
