U.S. Pain Foundation is the largest national nonprofit dedicated to serving those with pain. The foundation works to educate and empower those with pain, create societal awareness and public compassion, and advocate for positive policy change that one-third of our country desperately need and deserve.
On October 22, 2016, The 2nd Annual Real Hope, Real Heroes Gala: A celebration of real-life heroes will be held at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel in San Francisco. The goal of the evening is to shed light on the invisibility of pain while also honoring some amazing individuals.
Cocktail hour begins at 6pm with a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing. The focal point of the evening is the unveiling of the 2016 INvisible Project displays and magazines. The INvisible Project, the foundation's flagship programm, brings visibility to the invisible, internal struggles of people living with chronic pain. This year, the project highlights veterans as well as kids and families living with pain.
We hope you will join us October 22nd to raise awareness about the pain care problem in this country and recognize the strenght, courage and resilience of some special people.
