Juneteenth for Joy is a celebration of Black liberation through the lens of joy!
Join us for a full immersion in delight and joy -- and experience the dream that your ancestors struggled for right now. Black Joy is an essential part of Black Freedom-- that's what the hustle and grind are supposed to bring you, right?
During our celebration, you'll have free access to music, comedy, fun conversation, inspiration, a special meditation, and online resources to get access to nourishing food and Black therapy. Just register here and join the party live anytime during the day! Check out our agenda so you can get in where you fit in.
This year, we're having an in-person opening ceremony that honors our resilient past. Join us at the historic Black beach in Broward County, the Von D. Mizell/ Eula Johnson State Park.
Registration helps make this a safe, sacred online experience for everyone. Your information will not be published or shared. we've gathered for your mental health after Juneteenth is over.
Divest your labor for one day, and invest in your soul's well-being.
The New Civil Rights movement can be heavy work. We can't expect to sustain it if we aren't caring for ourselves.
As poet Toi Derricotte scribed, "Joy is an act of resistance."
