Description

You are invited to the 2nd Annual IURBAN TEEN HOLIDAY TREE EVENT at the Gifford Pinchot National Forest


What: Come spend the day in the woods selecting and cutting your own holiday tree while learning about your national forests. Lunch, tree cutting permit, and bon fire and s’mores provided.

When: Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: Mt. Adams Ranger District - Wind River Training Center

1262 Hemlock Rd. Carson, WA 98610

What you need to bring:

* Sturdy/water resistant shoes

* Warm clothing – jacket, hat, gloves (snow may be present)


Logistics: Arrive at the Forestry Service in Vancouver by 8:45

Fort Vancouver National Historic Site

*At 9 am commute up to Wind River (about an hour drive)

*Families will drive back to Vancouver at 3 pm and pick up your Tree from the Flatbed

One Tree per family - 2 youth per family and 1 parent or guardian per family

(Space is limited to 25)
