The 2023 Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters Awards Luncheon

Dear Broadcasters:

Please join us in person on Saturday, Apr. 1 for the 2023 Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters Awards Luncheon at The Greenbrier Resort.

The event honoring the best work of 2022 is open to Virginia and West Virginia broadcasters, their spouses and friends, to professionals employed in associated fields and to college students. All the winners will be revealed at the annual luncheon and awards presentation that begins at 12 p.m. Ticket prices remain the same -- $50/lunch ($35 for students). The deadline to register for the luncheon is Friday, Mar. 24, 2023.

HOTEL ROOMS: If you'd like to stay overnight, The Greenbrier Resort, 300 W Main St., White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., has rooms available on Friday and/or Saturday night at the group rate of $275 per night + taxes/fees.

Call the hotel directly at 855-453-4858, Option #2 to book a room (Option #1 to book activities). Please make sure you mention our group -- the Virginias Associated Press Broadcasters -- to get the special rate for March 31 and/or April 1. The deadline to reserve a room at the group rate is Friday, Mar. 1, 2023, but please be advised that the room block sells out quickly. Reservations require a deposit equal to one night's room and tax. This deposit is fully refundable up until 14 days prior to arrival.

Is there parking at The Greenbrier?

The hotel offers valet parking and self parking:

Valet Parking: A $25 daily valet parking fee will apply to all vehicles which have been valet parked.

Self Parking:  there are a few self-parking spots on property and there is a parking lot across the street from the main entrance.  (the shuttle can bring you back to the main entrance of the hotel)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not necessary, but please check in at the registration desk for your nametag upon arrival.

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds, but you can assign your ticket to another person.
