Join us for the 3rd Edition of NYSP Presents: Three New 30 Minute Musicals. This year's edition features the writing talents of Austin Nuckols and Lily Dwoskin, Benji Goldsmith and Wes Braver, Josh Freilich and Kate Chadwick.
3:00pm Show features: "Sissy S Pitchfork" ( Kate Chadwick & Josh Freilich) & "Please Say You Love Me Too" (Lily Dwoskin & Austin Nuckols)
5:30pm Show features: "Please Say You Love Me Too" (Lily Dwoskin & Austin Nickuls) & "Geese Police" (Benji Goldsmith & Wes Braver)
7:30pm Show features: "Geese Police" (Benji Goldsmith & Wes Braver) & Sissy S Pitchfork" ( Kate Chadwick & Josh Freilich)
NYSP Presents commissions musical theatre writing teams to create new musicals for the actors from The New York Satellite Program. The writers are sent video audition submissions mid-January and take the next two months to write a musical work tailored specifically to and for the talents of the University of California, Irvine actors. With about 20 hours rehearsal, these new works culminate in staged performances in New York City in April and in Irvine at UCI in May.
