Event description

Description

What to expect:

We want our Gathering to be useful and enjoyed by everyone, regardless if they have been apart of the self-reliance community for many years, or they would like to know more about the primitive skills that kept people alive for thousands of years, gain a deeper understanding of the resources that are found in nature, or just starting out on the path to becoming self-reliant.

We have it all!

This event will be family friendly with plenty of activities for the little ones to do such as, workshops, scavenger hunts, craft making, net tying and so much more. The Gathering will have many classes available each day; skill sets ranging from archery, primitive weapons, blacksmithing, flint & steel fire making, natural tinder, primitive friction fire, herbal tea making, knot tying, natural cordage making, net making, tomahawk throwing, primitive trapping, flint knapping, knife skills, spoon carving, wilderness hygiene & first aid, rock boiling, and so much more.

We will have a class list posted, however, you can walk around and if you see something you like, just join in!

As the Gathering progresses, we want you to know that it’s all up to you, and your interests. Most important of all, you’ll be able to meet like-minded folks to form relationships with that will last a lifetime. Priceless.

Come as you are, bring your gear, and get ready to relax or stay as busy as you want.

VENDORS!

We will have vendors purveying their wares. You are invited to come to the vendor tents and see what you like!
