Fri, April 28, 2017, 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM PDT
Thank you for your interest in attending the Tenth Annual SCCC Creative Writing Festival: A Celebration of Teaching and Writing.
The festival is an annual five-day event from April 24, 2017 to April 28, 2017.
Workshops, panel discussions, and/or readings will scheduled from Monday through Thursday on the campuses of SCCC during the festival week. Friday, the last day of the festival, will feature an all-day undergraduate conference full of workshops, panel discussions, readings with poets Aracelis Girmay and Rachel Eliza Griffiths, our complimentary luncheon with keynote speaker Paul Lisicky, and the ceremony for our Creative Writing Awards for College Writers.
We want to make the registration process as easy as possible. You do not need to register for the events held Monday-Thursday at the college -- these events are free and open to the public, and there will be sign-in sheets to track attendance at each of these events. If you are interested in attending the conference on Friday, you must pay the appropriate pre-registration fee before April 1, 2017, or the appropriate registration fee anytime after April 1, 2017 or on the day of the event.
