The 2016 Summit on Idaho Hunger and Food Security is a bi-annual summit that gathers the state's faith leaders, charitable emergency food providers, state and local government, health providers, advocacy groups, business and industry and community members together to learn about hunger and food insecurity. Participants of the Hunger Summit get the opportunity to work in one track and learn about the related efforts that are going on throughout the state and how we can collectively improve upon them. This year's tracks include:
At the end of this one day event, each track will craft next steps and action items that will be shared with the larger Summit. Those same next steps and action items will be reviewed and reported on during the following Summit on Idaho Hunger and Food Security. Additionally, the Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force writes a final report detailing the action items addressed within each track and what we will do to alleviate hunger in Idaho in the future.
What information will I need to register?
We are striving for a diverse and well represented Summit, hence the need for the following information: name, address (including county), phone number, email address, organization, job title and sector, as well as your pick of workshop track.
Please note, if you are registering for others, you will need to complete this information for all participants.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
There will be free parking at the Riverside Hotel. The address for the Riverside Hotel is 2900 W Chinden Blvd, Boise, ID 83714. http://riversideboise.com/
Attendees coming from the airport and staying at the Riverside can utilize the complimentary shuttle. To arrange a ride from the airport, to the hotel, please call the Riverside after your plane lands and you have picked up your luggage. They will send the shuttle driver for you. Are there refunds?
There are no refunds, however you can transfer the purchase of a ticket to someone else. Please contact Michelle Shobe at email@example.com in order to transfer your ticket.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
