Event Details

The 2014 Code for America Summit

The Summit is an annual gathering of civic technology leaders — ranging from Mayors to entrepreneurs, from community organizers to CTOs — who hold a shared belief that together we can create a government by the people, for the people that works for us all in the 21st century.

More than 80 cities were represented at last year’s event. This year's Summit will bring together even more cities and civic-minded citizens for two and a half days of main-stage content, breakout sessions, and working groups.

Code for America

Code for America has a bold vision: to build a government that works for the American people in the digital age. Where services are simple, beautiful, and easy to use; outcomes are measurably better, and better costs less. Where we serve everyone equally and with dignity.

We believe this will be the biggest source of societal good for a generation. And that we all must build it together.

Since 2011, Code for America has worked with thousands of tech industry professionals to help hundreds of local governments take a user-centered, iterative, and data-driven approach to solving problems. Along the way, we’ve found interventions that have the potential to help not just thousands of people in one city, but millions of the most vulnerable Americans. We’ve figured out a way to debug the major government programs that help feed families in need, get job seekers appropriate training, and keep people out of jail. Now, Code for America is taking these services to scale across the country.

By signing up for this event we will email you news and updates from Code for America. You can update your subscription preferences at any time.
