The 1st Bioinformatics Scientific Meeting in KSU (BioSM-KSU)

The aim of this event is to promote the area of bioinformatics among faculty, researchers, and students. The event will include sessions by experienced researchers in the filed of Bioinformatic. There will be invited speakers from national and international institutions: KAUST, KFSHRC, PNU, DU (in KSA), and UOttawa (in Canada). The event is an opportunity to exchange ideas and to provide a forum to present the work of undergraduate and postgraduate students in bioinformatics and related areas. The event is funded by: the National Plan for Science and technology (NPST) (Project No. 12-BIO2605- 02) and BioInG. The event is hosted in King Saud University, College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS).
A poster competition will take place during the event. Graduate and undergraduate students are all invited to submit posters in Bioinformatics and relevant areas. Participants choose from the suggested list of papers. In addition, participants can present posters from papers of their choice. Poster will be reviewed for relevance.
We welcome participants from all around the country and from all departments in King Saud University.
