About this Event

The Museum of Interesting Things Curator and founder Denny Daniel brings his traveling interactive demonstration/exhibition of antiques and inventions, inspiring innovation and creativity to schools, libraries, and other community venues. Heralded in the "NY Times", appeared on the History Channel, The Science Channel, NY1 News & PBS as well as over 20 publications and presented at 4 TEDx talks. Daniel, a New York University graduate, teaches through touch and feel allowing participants to actually interact with historical items and learn from the past to invent a better future. Daniel has done work for "The New York Times" and the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and lectured at Columbia University and NYU. Amassing his collection of antiques for over twenty years, with specialties in Science, Math, Literature, Medical, Toys, Music, Household, and Photography, plus many themed exhibitions, the MoIT coincides with the NY/NJ/PA Core Content Curriculum Standards for Science, Social Studies, Technology and STEM/STEAM. "We bring back tinkering & curiosity and show kids and adults their iPods did not pop out of thin air! Like a circus...just no elephants."
