Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM (CST)
San Antonio, TX
Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Feast at Green Vegetarian Cuisine on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at our Pearl Brewery location, 200 E. Grayson, Ste. 120.
Our Alon location will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving.
This year's Thanksgiving menu will be inspired by Hanukkah, in celebration of Hanukkah falling on America's Thanksgiving Day, the first time in history. This won't happen again for another 70,000 years!
Latkes, or potato pancakes fried in oil, symbolize the ancient lamps that held only enough oil for one day but magically burned for eight. On Thanksgiving, you'll find this Hanukkah treat at Green.
We'll also serve Sufganiyot or jelly donuts, that are deep-fried Israeli delicacies that symbolize the miracle of the burning oil lamps in the ancient Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
The menu planned for your feast includes:
Herb Mashed Potatoes
Sweet Potato Latkes Casserole
Sausage Apple Stuffing
Green Bean Casserole
Hanukkah Sufganiyot (Jelly Doughnuts)
All courses are vegan. We're using Eventbrite to help get a count and prepare for this event, however seating is on a first come first served basis.
Cost is $19.98 per person and includes gratuity for your meal.
If you don't feel like coooking -- or would like to join others on this special holiday, we hope you will join us.
