Description

With Thanksgiving coming up and Christmas around the corner, it is essential we stock up on local produce. Join us on a trip to the SFC Farmers' Market Downtown. "Featuring dozens of farmers and award-winning food artisans, this market is a must-see for newcomers and regulars. Situated in the picturesque Republic Square Park and on the new cosmopolitan Federal Courthouse Plaza, there is a café under the Auction Oak, live music, and plenty of room to picnic." https://sustainablefoodcenter.org/programs/sfc-farmers-market/sfc-farmers-market-downtown

Distance: About 2 miles. All rider levels welcomed.

Meet at 10:00 AM at the Parking Lot of the Twin Oaks Branch, Austin Public Library.

Route by Biking Comfort (- North on S. 5th/Dawson
- West on Riverside
- Across the Pfluger Bridge
- East on the Lance Armstrong Bikeway
- North on West Av.
- East on 3rd St.
- North on San Antonio St.
- Park at bike racks on NW corner of 4th & Guadalupe

We'll ride back at Noon, but you are welcomed to stay or leave whenever you want. The Farmers' Market closes at 1 pm.

Things to Remember:
- Check the weather, you might need a light sweater.
- Bring a bicycle basket, panniers, or a backpack to carry back your groceries.
- Consider setting up a picnic.
- Bring water!
