16 NCBTMB and Florida State CE Hours
Learn great new techniques while you earn your CEUs to renew your massage license! This 2-day NCBTMB Approved massage continuing education workshop focuses on passive stretches for the client on the massage table with techniques grouped in practical segments you will use all the time. You will learn stretches for the Thai front position.
Thai Massage is traditionally done on a mat on the floor, but much of the work can easily be adapted to the table. In this class, you will learn a little about the foundations of Traditional Thai Massage and how to incorporate Thai techniques into your existing bodywork/massage practice.
You will see in detail Thai Massage routines to treat chronic pain and tightness. At the end of the course, you will be able to perform a 60-90 minute Thai Massage on the Table in the front position or to incorporate individual Thai techniques with other modalities to create your own unique session.
Class fees include class materials.
Wear loose comfortable clothing for easy movement and stretching. This is a hands-on class and participants will give and receive a complete Thai table session during the course. Participants will need to bring massage tables.
