Texas Farmers' Market is leading a workshop to help vendors learn more about different types of social media and how they can be used to increase exposure and sales opportunities. In the presentation we will be going over the social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as demoing our new Texas Farmers' Market mobile app. The later half of the workshop will be hands on breakout sessions where vendors will have the opportunity to set up social media accounts and troubleshoot current social media issues. We will also be covering merchandising strategies to help boost vendors' sales at markets.
Please bring a laptop or mobile device to the meeting if possible. We will be hosting the same meeting three times in the hope that all vendors will have the change to attend. The three different sessions will be:
- Thursday February 16, 11am-1pm at the Spicewood Springs Library
- Tuesday February 21, 11am-1pm at the Carver Library, Meeting Room 1
- Saturday February 25, 2-4pm at the Howson Branch Library
This workshop is provided as a professional development service to the vendors of TFM. Refreshments will be provided. Please e-mail Nora at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding the event. We hope to see you there!
