MONIQUE COLEMAN (ACTRESS / PHILANTHROPIST)
Monique Coleman is an American actress, dancer, singer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist best known for her co-starring role in Disney's High School Musical movies, in which she plays Taylor McKessie. Most recent, Coleman was named the first ever UN Youth Champion for the International Year of Youth and is currently on a world tour to raise awareness of challenges facing youth.


JOEL JACINTO (LA CITY COMMISSIONER)
Immersed in the nonprofit field for close a quarter century, Joel Jacinto brings to the Board of Public Works Commission extensive experience in working with youth, families, businesses and communities. Complementing his work in social services, Jacinto is a long-time arts and cultural practitioner, having co-founded in 1990, a Filipino folk and traditional arts organization, Kayamanan Ng Lahi. He is a founding board member of the Alliance for California Traditional Artists (ACTA), which provides advocacy, grants, and other resources for folk and traditional artists in California to preserve the health and longevity of California’s cultural landscape.


ROB BALUCAS (PARATRIATHLETE)

Rob Balucas is a third generation Filipino-American everyday guy who has a passion to compete in triathlon. In 2015, he suffered a spinal cord injury in a cycling accident while training for an IRONMAN. His first goal after spinal fusion surgery was to compete in a triathlon within a year. He went on to complete 3 triathlons that next year as a paratriathlete. Currently, he’s training to compete in both marathons & IRONMAN triathlons. He’ll share how his experience as a Filipino-American shaped his ability to recover so quickly.

LOW LEAF (MUSICAL ARTIST)
LA native Low Leaf is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer and producer. Rooted in classical piano since early childhood, she combines an array of genres by playing the electric harp, piano, guitar, singing, and making beats. Her self-taught harp and production skills give way for a more unrestricted and unique sound, ever-changing in a spectrum of its own.


MINIOTICS (DANCE CREW)

Miniotics is a second sector of Poreotics (winner of America's Best Dance Crew). They eventually turned into it's own entity breaking off and becoming self sufficient. The current four person crew is self choreographed and directed. Now on their own journey they are keeping the legacy alive by expanding out and becoming a force in the dance community. They’ve won various awards including the Vibe 15, FUSION X, and World of Dance. You can catch them frequently performing on the World of Dance competition stage which frequently tours throughout United States and beyond.
