Maansi Srivastava is a documentary photographer focusing on widespread social issues through a lens of family and community. She is a recent graduate of George Washington University, where she received a BFA in Photojournalism and minored in Criminal Justice. This summer, she is working at the Washington Post as their photojournalism intern.
Maansi's work has appeared in the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, AARP, StopMotion DC, GW Today, and the GW Hatchet. Her work has been awarded by College Photographer of the Year and the Curious Society. She has also made two photo-based zines: The Place We Call Home and Roots Hanging From the Banyan Tree, which will be available to order this summer.
