Texoma Medical Center - Hands-Only-CPR Classes (2017)
Thu, September 7, 2017, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM CDT
Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in the U.S., according to the American Heart Association. When a person has a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately getting CPR from someone nearby. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.
Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an “out-of-hospital” setting.
Learn when to use Hands-Only-CPR and the proper technique by attending this class presented by Texoma Medical Center.
Education on Early Heart Attack Care (EHAC) will also be provided.
Each event is limited to 30 people.
