The 2020 Fall TVLIC will be held online. Semifinals will run from 9 AM until 12:00 PM. Top teams from the Semifinals will compete in the Finals from 2 PM until 5:00 PM. The public is welcome to watch these aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their ventures. You must have a Zoom account to participate in Zoom meetings at UT if you don’t have a UT email address. Fortunately, it is free and easy to set up. Just go to zoom.com to download the application. You will need to set up a user name and password. Watch the latest startups coming out of UT pitch their ventures to a panel of investors.

About this Event

Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition gives away more than $58,000 a year in prizes during its fall and spring competitions, where graduate students from the University of Texas System present their business ventures to simulate the experience of pitching to investors.

Many TVLIC competitors go on to launch their businesses and many others leverage the invaluable feedback and experience to accelerate their professional growth. Successful competitors have included uShip, Ordoro, BeatBox Beverages, Phurnace Software, Qcue, and Wilder Systems among others.

The 2020 Fall TVLIC event will be held online. Semifinals will run from 9 AM until 12:00 PM. Top teams from the Semifinals will compete in the Finals from 2 PM until 4:15 PM. The public is welcome to watch these aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their ventures.
