Teaching Empowering Strengthening (TES), a non for profit family business, invites you to join us as we celebrate our 2nd Anniversary. We are proud to present “The Jazz Hoofing Quartet” featuring tap dancer Jumaane Taylor who is also our TES’ artistic director. He will dance rhythms with other musicians and take you into a journey of improvised sets.
During our celebration, TES’ directors, Kamaria Golden and Fatima Taylor, will enlighten your minds by sharing information about their athletics and academics programs. These brilliant individuals have empowered so many youth to become self-reliant leaders and can’t wait to share their stories.
We are convinced that you will enjoy the exquisite sounds of The Jazz Hoofing Quartet led by tap dancer, Jumaane Taylor. He will dance rhythms with other musicians and take you into a journey of improvised sets. The quartet communicates in rhythm while melody and all other elements arrive when summoned by the music. The style of dance that Jumaane lives by called tap dancing or hoofing is connected to the genre of jazz music. In respect for the culture, they continue to aspire growth among the traditions.
