Water is Life, in conjunction with World Water Day on March 22, 2019 net proceeds will be used for the installation of a water well in an underserved village in Ushetu, Tanzania.

Join us for an evening of Traditional Irish Music, dance, food, drink, auctions, raffles, fun and friendship. Two bands, the Tanzania Ceili Band and Precious Heritage will perform along with dancers from the Broesler School of Irish Dance.

The price of a ticket includes a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie, dessert, and beverages. Beer and wine will be available a donation being requested in lieu of payment.

The Tanzanian Children's Project is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit founded in 2009 in Columbia, Maryland. We support health, education, sanitation, and water well projects in underserved communities in Tanzania.

To date more than $140,000 donated to various organizations has been used to:

build and equip a Catholic outpatient medical dispensary including the installation of solar panels for electricity,

pay tuition and administrative fees for three years for eight young adult students to attend a vocational training school,

upgrade toilet facilities, purchase supplies, musical instruments, and pay for teacher salaries at Stella Matutina Catholic primary school,

fund the startup of a self sustaining women's coop which purchases and resells solar powered lanterns,

and very soon begin the installation of our first water well in Mizirayo village in the Ushetu district.

If you can't attend this event you can still make a valuable donation to help bring Life Giving Water to those in need of a clean, sustainable, and continuous source of water. You can donate by clicking the green Tickets icon above or go to tanzaniakids.org/donate.html.
