About this Event

This event takes place across 2 days: November 2 & 3, from 9am - 4pm US Eastern Time each day

This 2-day training event covers all of the core principles of accessibility, focusing on what accessibility is, how users with disabilities use computers, and how to consider accessibility when designing and developing web-based systems.

This topic-based training navigates attendees through key topics in accessibility from very high-level to very detailed. Each topic features both teamwork and lecture and the technical topics provide important details about considering accessibility in both design and development. The Accessibility Bootcamp covers the following topics:

  14. Forms
  15. Dynamic Content & WAI-ARIA

At the end of the 2-day training event, all attendees will receive a copy of all materials as well as recordings for each day. (These materials are for personal use only)

About Karl Groves

Tenon’s Founder & President, Karl Groves, has been training others on accessibility for 15 years. He has trained several hundred designers, developers, content authors, project managers, and QA testers throughout the United States, Europe, and India. He has spoken on design, development, and accessibility at nearly 50 events in 11 different countries and his work is cited in nearly a dozen books and used on curricula in Human-Computer Interaction across the globe.
