Tennis 101 teaches the basic concepts and strokes of the game quickly and easily in a fun, family-friendly, active & encouraging group environment for AGES 5 and older. We separate kids by their ages (5-10 and 11-15 and 16 & and up will be paired together based on the number of registrations) so you are learning within your own age group. These low-cost clinics run May to early August at Fort Boise and Herritage Middle School in Meridian.
Our goal is to make tennis easily accessible and affordable to anyone who wants to participate. $10 per session for an individual or $30 per session for a family of four plus a small processing fee. Each session will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am - 10:30 a.m. at the corresponding location alternating between Fort Boise and Herritage Middle School. You must pre-register on Event-Brite and a minimum of four adults or four kids per session must be registered or the class maybe cancelled or moved to a different session to accommodate. Please register by the preceding Wednesday. ALL EQUIPMENT, CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTORS ARE PROVIDED.
Ultimately, Tennis 101 introduces (or re-introduces) adults and children to the game of tennis.

Idaho Tennis Association (IdTA) heads the Idaho District of the Intermountain Tennis Association (ITA), a section of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the national governing body for the sport of tennis in the United States. IdTA is a nonprofit organization with more than 4,200 members in Southern Idaho. We coordinate and promote Adult Leagues, Tennis 101 (for families), Tennis is Elementary (for grade-school children) and Junior Team Tennis and Team Idaho (for junior players). We also provide support and training for Community Tennis Associations throughout our District.
