In Tennessee, approximately 358 children and youth go to bed every night without a permanent family, wondering if tomorrow they will be forced to leave...again. And Tennessee has over 11,000 churches. This means the church can be a part of the solution for these kids! And as a pastor or church or community leader, we need your help!
Focus on the Family, in conjunction with local child placing agencies and adoption ministries, will be hosting an adoption recruitment event in April 2017, encouraging families to consider adoption from foster care. Our desire is for churches all across the city of Chattanooga and surrounding communities to spread the word about the event, inviting their congregations to attend. To learn more about the event and how you can help us spread the word, please come to a FREE informational luncheon on Thursday, March 16 at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga University Center. Lunch will be provided and we'll share our vision for the event and how we can all work together on behalf of Tennessee's waiting kids.
Please feel free to share this invitation with other adoption and orphan care leaders in your community.
