Event description

Description

Tennessee Statehood Day is a time to celebrate our state's induction into the U.S.! This year, we are happy to present a living history event in commemoration of this momentous occasion in Tennessee's history. There will be historians in period-dress to talk to, including: soldiers, frontiersmen, musicians, Rosie the Riveter, and many more! Family fun activities for children and birthday cake will be available on the front lawn. The original 1796 State Constitution will be on display, and you can view our newly installed "Founding Documents" exhibit.

Tickets are available for purchase from April 21 to June 2, 2017.
