Description

Tenant Rights Panel

October 23, 2017

Presented by the SF LGBT Center

Trouble with your landlord? Facing Eviction? Just want to become better educated about your rights as a tenant?

On October 23rd the SF LGBT Center will be hosting a tenant’s rights workshop to help answer those questions and more. The workshop will cover a broad spectrum of practical topics ranging from how to communicate with your landlord, to getting repairs done, to how to handle an eviction notice. Presenters will also address key issues facing tenants in San Francisco today such as Elis act evictions, navigating building sales, and will discuss some of the ways that tenants can organize with each other.

Become a better educated tenant, meet some great organizations working for tenants’ rights in Sf, and learn how you can start to organize with other tenants to protect each other.
